Welcome to Toucan Class

We are a happy, warm and welcoming class on the main site with our learners currently on the Willow Pathway.  In our class, we prioritise positive relationships, developing independence skills, communication and well being.  In the Willow Pathway we offer a lot of practical learning through a busy and engaging curriculum.  The pupils are aged between 7 and 11 years old, supported by 1 teacher and 4 to 5 Teaching Assistants.  The pupils work hard to develop their skills in a range of contexts. This year, the pupils are really thriving through their physical activities. They love our swim sessions, outdoor learning at forest school and have been excited by their PE learnings. They are keen to move! They are also a creative group - enjoying making and art activities, cookery activities and our bucket sessions. Learning through play and exploring are also key in our classroom.
